Minnetonka Community Education is seeking energetic and creative staff to join our Explorers school-age child care program for the 2024-2025 school year! After-school shifts are available at multiple elementary schools, starting at 2 PM and ending at either 5 PM or 6 PM. As a Child Care Assistant, you will supervise and engage with children in grades K-5. Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities for children
• Ensure a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for children
• Set up and clean up classroom activities
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff

Pay & Schedule:

• Starting at $18.00/hour + quarterly bonuses
• After-school shifts: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM or 6:00 PM

Qualifications:

• No prior child care experience is required, but must have an interest in working with children
• Ability to follow directions from supervisors and work collaboratively with team members
